Erin is the proud owner of Fit4Mom Charleston! Erin and her active duty military husband have two adorable kids, two naughty German Shepherds and one temperamental cat.
Erin has always been an athlete. Growing up, Erin played basketball, tennis and was a cheerleader, but it was track & field that captured her heart. Erin ran competitively for over ten years and was a nationally ranked 100m and 300m hurdler. Erin has been to countless national competitions and competed twice in the Junior Olympics in the 100m and 300m hurdles. Erin also has an extensive dance background and while living in Vietnam, she even started a cheerleading squad to support the local soccer team.
As an adult, she has continued that passion for fitness. Erin is Fit4Mom Stroller Strides, Fit4Baby and Stroller Barre certified. She is also a certified yoga teacher (RYT 200), certified prenatal yoga teacher (RPYT), certified studio Barre teacher, TRX Barre trained, and Adult & Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certified. Melanie Clark is a mother to two energetic boys who inspire her to be active and playful every day. She fell in love with FIT4MOM in 2013 in Columbus, Ohio where she was owner of FIT4MOM Columbus North. She recently moved to the Charleston area in the Summer of 2017 and quickly came aboard FIT4MOM Charleston to help spread the love of the FIT4MOM Village in the Lowcountry.
Melanie has a passion for supporting women as they navigate through motherhood. She is an ACE certified Personal Trainer. She enjoys training prenatal and postnatal women for functional fitness and recovery after baby, specifically women with Diastasis Recti and Pelvic Floor concerns. She is also a ProDoula Certified Postpartum Doula and Infant Care Specialist where she supports families through their own personal journey into parenthood.
FUN FACT: Melanie attended The Ohio State University where she participated on the Varsity Track and Cross Country teams.more
Instructor, Stroller Strides
Rachel Pratt and her active duty husband moved to the area a few years ago and have loved exploring what Charleston has to offer. Together they have a spirited and joyful toddler and are expecting a second baby girl in November.
Rachel is new to Fit4Mom but excited about the opportunity to instruct Stroller Strides classes while getting to know other moms of Charleston. She joined the fitness industry a few years ago with a Person Trainer Certification and added both a Pre/Postnatal Certification and Fitness Nutrition Certification.
Fun Fact: Rachel speaks fluent Spanish which she learned growing up overseas in South America.more
Instructor, Stroller Strides
Brenna is the mother of one son, Hugo who is constantly keeping her busy! Brenna and her husband moved to Charleston in 2016 and enjoy a family day every Sunday where they take their son and dog, Zoe to Sullivans Island for a nice beach stroll. Brenna has always been involved in sports including competitive cheerleading, volleyball, and long distance running. Fitness and nutrition has always been important to her and a way she loves to relieve stress. She trained herself and competed and placed 4th in her first INBF fitness competition and is anxious to train to compete in another one in the near future. Although she is new to Fit4mom, she is passionate and excited about the motherhood bonds she will experience while helping others achieve fitness goals that Fit4mom has to offer.
Fun fact: Brenna is a Delta Flight Attendant and loves to travel and experience different cultures and foods around the world.more
Marisa is a military wife and mom to four beautiful kids, ranging from 18 to 4. New Mexico is where she was born and raised, but she's thankful to have seen and lived in so many different places!
Marisa grew to love running as a sort of meditation during times when her husband was deployed, and it has evolved into a passion of health and fitness! Finding this village of like minded mamas has made moving to new areas so much easier. Marisa says, "Being able to share my passion with other women truly makes my heart happy!"more
Stroller Strides Instructor
Autumn is a new mom to baby boy Sullivan, born in May 2017. She and her boyfriend, Jason, have been in the Charleston area since 2014, and enjoy spending time at the beach or the park with Sullivan and Clifford, their Golden Retriever. Autumn works for Marriott International, in Learning and Development, as an Instructional Designer. Fitness has always been an important part of Autumn’s life, and she is excited for the opportunity to introduce Sullivan to a healthy lifestyle at a young age.
The thing she loves most about Fit4Mom, is the tribe of remarkable women. She says, “ I am constantly inspired by these amazing mamas’ strength.”
Fun Fact: In college Autumn worked as a can-can dancer at a Wild West theme park.more
Play Group Captain, Memorial Waterfront Park
Lee is a Navy wife and mother to Addi. She and her family moved back to SC in 2017 for her husbands shore duty where she found FIT4MOM and has loved becoming part of the village that has become a huge part of her motherhood experience. Lee uses exercise to help with stress and finds that working out with Addi and Fit4Mom is the best way to keep her working out.
Lee loves working with and teaching children and has done so for the last 10 years as a Behavior Therapist. Lee is the Play Group Captain for Memorial Waterfront Park and is the mama behind the amazing play dates that we hold every week on Wednesday at Memorial Waterfront Park!more
Instructor, Stroller Strides
Jen is the mama to two silly, energetic little boys and three mini schnauzer fur babies. Originally from Northern California, Jen and her family moved to the Charleston area in 2013 with the military. Her husband has recently retired from the Air Force, and they are excited to put down roots here in Charleston!
Jen grew up playing tennis and has always had a passion for staying active. In the last several years she has become an avid runner and enjoys running half and full marathons. She is new to the Fit4Mom community, and, knowing first-hand the power of a healthy mind and body, is thrilled to be a part of bringing fitness, friendship and fun to all the mamas!
Jen studied Human Development at the University of California, Davis and is now pursuing a certification in group fitness to add to her Fit4Mom Stroller Strides certification.
Fun Fact: Jen has ran 20 half marathons, 7 full marathons, and a 50k!more
Join 'Team FIT4MOM Charleston' in the 2nd annual 'Head for the Cure 5K Run/Walk - Charleston' to fight brain cancer and support clinical research both through the Brain Tumor Trials Collaborative and locally at the Medical University of South Carolina's Holling's Cancer Center.
